LACS offers one award of $24,054 each year to a Ph.D. candidate in any area to support dissertation write up on a LACS topic.  We particularly encourage applications from students whose dissertations have interdisciplinary appeal.  The recipient is expected to concentrate their efforts during the award period on writing their dissertation.
